My child is in senior infants. When can I put their name down for your school?
We open applications for First Year in the autumn term of the year that your child starts 6th Class. We do not accept applications before this time.
How can I apply for a First Year place?
We accept applications ONLINE ONLY. We do not take applications by email, phone or in person. Please do not call in to the school to apply for a place. See links above for the relevant school year and follow the instructions to apply online.
NB: Applications for First Year only open in the autumn term when your child is in 6th Class.
How do I know when applications for First Year will open?
Applications for First Year open in the autumn term that your child is in 6th class. We publicise the exact date via the Admissions Notice on our website (under the relevant year of entry).
Can I call in to visit the school, or do you host an Open Night?
Please do not call in to the school on spec. You are very welcome to attend our Open Night every October. You can also take a virtual tour here any time.
My child is in another secondary school but would like to move. How can I apply?
Applications to transfer into our school are normally made for September in the following school year, apart from in exceptional circumstances, such as where are child has moved into the area. To enquire about transferring into our school, please email info@nwetss.ie
Do you have spaces available in your school?
Our school is currently full for all year groups.
